upgrade

I just upgraded from windows me, to xp and I can't get on
line because it can't find the modem. I've also lost sound
and other software apps. That I can't fix because I can't
get online using xp. Pleas help.

Contact your system manufacturer, get the latest drivers for the sound and
the modem, and install them. As regards the software, you may be able to use
them if they were XP compatible. Otherwise, no.
