Hi Lory,
Windows XP needs 1.5 G.B. to install
Plus you also need to 500 M.B. as free space for Windows
XP to work
Plus anymore space if you need to install other softwares
Remmember Office requires 500 M.B. of additional space

However if you just want to use windows xp, you need 2
G.B. (2048 M.B.) of free space
