upgrade

I upgraded to XP and now my Norton's won't work. I'm sure
there is an easy fix but can't get anyone at Norton!!!

See if you can uninstall it and reinstall it.
Note - you should never do an OS upgrade with antivirus software installed -
it can cause problems.
