Norton antiVirus get 1606 error after upgrade

frustrated

upgraded fro win 98 edition 1 to Win XP. now norton
won't run. even though i'm the only user with admin
privileges, can't uninstall & reinstall norton. get 1606
error in Norton ... can't find driver.

anyone know how to get Norton compatible with ZP

sure appreciate it
