Hi

I want to update a access 97 database to access 2000 is this possible to do
and how... what problems could i encounter.

The upgrade should go relatively smoothly. Be aware that because Access 2000
and later use Unicode, your database size will increase by over 60%. Access
97 was, IMO, the most stable version of all of them. Access 2000 one of the
2 least stable (the other being Access 95). You must regularly backup your
files during development if you want to ensure that you don't lose time
replacing corrupt forms and reports. Once developed, your database should be
fine and your data should be safe.

Conversion is as easy as first compiling your Access database, then choosing
Tools ... Database Utilities ... Convert.
