Upgrade/Sharepoint problems FP 2003

I just upgraded from FP 2002 to 2003 and when I try to log on to my site for authoring to the server I get a message that Share Point Services are not available and cannot access the site. Is this a problem with me or my host? Is this something I can control at my end (unix host not always FP friendly)? Am I dead in the water? Do I reinstall the older version?

What version of the FP SE are the running (FP2002 preferred, FP2000 supported)
Provide a URL of the site

Can you browse to the site in IE and use File edit w/ FP?
