upgrade problems

i have a windows 2000 computer. while trying to upgrade to
windows xp home edition an error message appeared saying
that my current version of windows is not a suppoted
upgrade path. can i only install windows xp pro. on a
windows 2000 system?

Yep looks like Windows 2000 is just upgradeable to Windows XP Pro.
