I have the following stuff. I know that 939 MB and AGP are dead...however
would like hold on the few more months before I upgrade....No overclocking.
Do I have any options to push more out.

ASUS A8V Deluxe-Socket 939, Athlon 64 3700+ (Sand Diego core) 2 x 1MB
PC3200 @ 400mhz, 6800GT OC 256MB-AGP, Audigy 2 ZS. 2x80GB HD in raid.

thx

Well other than being severely short on RAM (!) I'd say that rig looks
pretty good. Why would you want to upgrade it at all? -Dave

Sorry big typo, should be 2x1GB....

the rig is mostly for games, choppy on some games like COH. I was thinking
about the 7800GS...but, led to believe it wouldn't help much for $200.00.

I have a X2 4800+, 2GB RAM, 7800GT (PCI-e but it gives you an idea) and
it'll run anything I throw at it.

You've topped out your system. Next stop-Vista, DX 10 capable video card,
PCI-E, DDR2, SATA2, etc.
