Hey all,

I own a Dell, and it really groans while playing Half Life 2. Im
looking to build an AMD machine with the following components:

- Thermaltake VA3000 Dream Tower Black VA3000BWA ATX Case with
Transparent X type side panel window -RETAIL
$99.00
- Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, (Twin Pack) 184 Pin
1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200 - Retail
$189.99
- ASUS "A8V Deluxe" VIA K8T800 Pro Chipset Motherboard For AMD Socket
939 CPU $135.00
- Antec 430W Power Supply, Model "TRUE430" - Retail
$75.00
- AMD Athlon 64 3500+, 512K, L2 Cache, Socket 939 Windows Compatible
64-bit $270.00
- XFX nVIDIA GeForce 6800 Video Card, 128MB DDR, 256-Bit, TV-Out/Dual
DVI, 8X AGP, Model"PVT40KND" -RETAIL
$259.00

I already have two hard-drives from my previous system which I intend
to use. I also have an Audigy2 ZS.

Any comments? I was especially wondering about the video card. The
6800 looks like good value, but Im not sure about XFX.
The total comes out to just over 1000$.

Thanks,
Sumedh.
