upgrade from xp to vista

Now that I got my tower back from hp (hard drive problems) which makes 4
times in 2 yrs I can't load my vista upgrade like all the times in the past.I
get error ox8007045d.The disk came from hp and I have all my updates from
microsoft.The vista upgrade advisor says that all is fine.This is my last
stop as nobody and I mean nobody not even hp has a clue pretty sad.
