Upgrade from Win XP Media to XP Pro

XP Media was having problems so I tried to upgrade to XP Pro. I get 50%
through and it kicks back an error message unregmp2.exe entry point not found
the procedure entry point getnums could not be located in the DLL labrary .
MSDART.DLL.

ANy Ideas?

Windows XP Media Center edition is a superset of XP Pro (at least MCE
2004 is - 2005 has a couple of facilities removed) and in consequence
you can't 'upgrade' to Pro. It would be very unlikely to clear the
trouble unless that was in one of the MCE enhancements - all of which
you would lose. If you still want to, you would have to do a clean
install of Pro, booting the CD and deleting the present partition before
making a new one to install to
