unregmp2.exe messsage help

Hello,

I am trying to do a repair install over my XP Pro and have got a panel
that says this..

Unregmp2.exe Entry point not found
Procedure Point GetIUMS could not be located in dynamic librray MSDART.DLL

It won't go away.. and thus the setup just sits..

Any help please?

Thank you Kelly.. Somehow by the time I got back to the computer the
panel had gone, so I guess it fixed it itself. but...

Before I did Repair reinstall I had SP1 on and all the downloads from MS
with patches. Do I need to put all these back on again?

Most welcome and yes, a repair install removes all updates including SP1.

I ran into this also the unregmp2.exe file is a virus or a somethin
that is a pain in the butt. I rebooted the PC booting to the XP CD an
choose the option to get to a Prompt. Deleted the file which I foun
mine in the C:\Windows\INF\unregmp2.exe everything worked fine after
removed the file.
