upgrade from sp1 to sp4

After upgrading from sp1 to sp4 I can no longer print from
dos apps or from command prompt to local printer (lpt1) -
but can print fine from any windows program. Do I need to
reinstall or uninstall sp4. If so how? Or are there some
settings I can check to see if something is wrong? I am
about at my wits end trying to figure out this one. PLEASE
HELP!!!!! Thanks in advance!

Silly question on my part, but have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the
printer and reconfigure it to allow for DOS apps to print to it?
