Hi

A friend had Access 97(stand alone), and she has upgraded
to Office XP, but she is unable to open the files created
under Access 97.

She does not have the Access 97 Installation CD, so she
cannot go back.

Can anyone help please

Not without more information -- like what happens when she tries to open an
Access 97 database with Access 2002, and any more possible information about
the databases.

There's certainly no inherent problem with opening an Access 97 database
with Access 2002.

Which edition of Office XP has been installed? Not all editions include
Access. Standard doesn't, Professional and Developer do, Small Business
includes only a run-time version.
