Access 97 no longer works

Most of the people in my office run Office 97. A few, however, have upgraded to Office 2003. One of the people saw the new versions of Office in our safe and decided, on her own, to upgrade. She found she had no registration key, uninstalled the new version and re-installed Office 97. Most of the programs work again, but everytime she tried to bring up Access 97 she gets a message that says "no license exists for this product." This is when she called me. I uninstalled Access 97 and reinstalled it but no luck. She has a licensed copy of Office 97 and we are installing from the original CD. Word, Excel, Outlook all run fine. Any ideas?

This is a known bug cause by a defective font. You can work around it with
the fix found here:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;191224&Product=acc97

Or you can delete the Hatten.ttf font and reinstall Access.
