We are just now upgrading to WinXP here at the office and on some of our
machines, once we upgrade if the user receives an email with a hyperlink or a
link to a graphic on the web, outlook will crash when they click on the
email. If the email is the first in the list and they have preview in use,
outlook crashes immediately on opening the inbox. Same user can log into a
different box and access the very same email just fine. We have installed all
available XP patches and are on Outlook 2002, sp3. We don't use Norton. PST's
are not over large. It only happens when there are hyperlinks in the email.
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your kind attention.
