Updating XP

G

Gary Vaughan

I have a version of XP that needs updating. Unfortunetly
when I tried I received a message that it was a
unauthorized copy. I have since purchased a new copy of
XP but it will not update my current version. I don't
want to remove everything from my system to load the new
XP software. Any ideas?

Thanks

If you were using the "corp" version you will have to purchase a retail full
version of XP pro and perform an in-place upgrade (repair install).
You cannot do it with an OEM disk or with any version of XP home.
