Updating from behind a firewall

My office firewall won't allow live updates. Ad-aware
allows me to download spyware definitions in a .zip form
that I can install manually. Can Antispyware do this too?

Can you say more about the firewall? I've had no trouble with this behind
Microsoft ISA firewall. OTOH, I know of one or two others who have a
similar issue, even though their firewall passes http and https traffic,
they still cannot update. So far, we've been unable to resolve this.
Microsoft Antispyware uses the IE settings to determine whether a proxy is
present and how to use it.
