Updates

I used to receive an info about Windows updates about once a month. Its been
2 weeks now and window pops up informing me about installing updates , twice
or three times a day. I usually postpone it, because I am in a middle of the
work and dont feel like restatring my computer. After logging off I get the
messahe that Windows is installing my updates ( it takes a lot of time before
the computer shuts down) and whats even worse, after turning on my computer
next time it takes lots of time for windows to configure those updates. I
didnt mind my updates every now and then, but now I am being annoyed,
especially if I need my work right away and I have to wait half an hour for
Windows to finish configuring. What can I do to stop those updates every day,
sometimes couple of times a day. oh, and I always turn off my computer with
the option " Shut down without installing updates" It installs them anyway.
Please, help, it really makes my work hard. Thank You!

Have you considered changing the settings, perhaps something like "notify only".
