Updates

It seems every day I am getting updates for my Windows
Media Player. Its enought to make me want to turn off
automatic updates Or get red of the windows media
player! - do I really need these?

You don't really need the updates for the media player.
Open media player and click on the tab for tools, select
options, on the tab that shows Player, just check the tab
for check for updates on once per month and then uncheck
the box that has download codecs automatically.
Hopefully that will correct the problem.
