Updates

Every time I try to do a manual update for my spyware
because it's not updating otherwise, I get the message that
it can't find an internet connection, but I am on the
internet. I've tried just being connected (dialup), I've
tried it using Mozilla Firefox and I've tried it unsing
Internet Explorer. Help! Thanks!!

1) check that either Internet Explorer or Outlook Express is NOT set to "use
offline."
2) check that your internet connectivity is otherwise normal--i.e. you can
reach this forum <g>
3) check that there is no software or hardware firewall which might be
interfering. Check the help for Microsoft Antispyware for help in what
needs to be allowed through your firewall.
