There are many updates for my Microsoft Word 2002 application. Microsoft
does not
make it easy as the explanations would make an engineering graduate quake.
Of course, you cannot be specific w/o examining my computer, but can you
suggest general guidelines. [I was able to turn off automatic updates
because I want to control my computer as much as possible -- plus I do not
wasn't uninvited "guests" on my computer.]

What GENERAL updates would I require for Microsoft Word 2002?

Thank you,

Barry Karas

G'Day Barry,

As a general rule you should NOT turn off Automatic Updates. You should
accept ALL MS Updates for Windows and Office.

I like to control my teeth, but I still visit the dentist.

I agree with Pat, Barry, get those automatic updates turned back on today!

Good luck...
