Update prevents Norton Live Update

Eversince I installed the latest updates to windows xp,
my norton internet security liveup date will not run. I
keep getting a message saying it can not access the
internet. What is blocking it and how do I change??
 
I encountered the same thing. Haven't found a fix yet, but am planning to re-install SAV and firewall
I'm hoping someone will give us a fix.
