update media player pop-up

Whenever I start my pc I get a pop-up message
that asks me if I want to install an up-date
for media player. This happens everyday when
I boot up my PC. Is there anyway to eliminate
the pop-up without actually clicking OK and
installing the up-date.

Generally, Windows Media Player will only alert you to update if it is an
important security update. For your protection I would advise that you
install the update.
