update KB929338

It seems update KB929338 wants to keep sending me an udate notification that
it needs to be reinstalled? I looked in my add and remove list and it is
there?? So I uninstalled it and reinstalled from MS update. It reinstalled
and I restarted, however it keeps notifying me that it needs to reinstall? Is
my updater broken? it seems to update win defender OK. As I type the yellow
shield is in my sys tray wanting me to re-insatll KB929338 once again. Am I
caught in a primordial loop??

I suggest you look through the posts in and if needed post to the experts in
the Windows Update newsgroup.

Hey there Fred,

Was the installation of the Update KB929338 successful? Perhaps it wasn't. I
had a similar problem with one of the Updates. I overlooked the dialogue box
at the end of the update, which actually indicated that installation was not
successful. Resolution of my problem was to turn-off my real-time anti-virus
protection scanner.
