Skype updates??

Yesterday I got "Windows" update notifications as usual, but when I clicked
the yellow shield I was very surprised it said "Skype". I never had Skype
updates this way before. Have they been taken over by Microsoft?

Skype was bought by Microsoft some time ago, yes. As to what it's
doing in your updates, I have no clue.
