unwanted toolbar

There is an isearch toolbar on my browser that I cannot
figure out how to remove. I don't know how it got
there...inadvertantly installed it or what? Anyway, I
tried looking in add/remove programs but no luck. Also
tried to uncheck in under View/Toolbars But it doesn't
let me. (The text for isearch is faded) What do I do??
