Unwanted toolbar

I have an unwanted toolbar and I have installed Ad-ware
from lavasoft and spotted the name , quanrantine the
software but it still shows up. I have had one before and
someone posted a way to delete it from the registry which
worked for me. Does anyone have those steps?

Get ToolbarCop:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/utils/ToolbarCop.exe

ToolbarCop removes the Toolbars, Toolbar buttons and unwanted
menu-extensions from Internet Explorer. It does not remove the spyware from
the system entirely. It is advisable to run Ad-Aware scan
(www.lavasoftusa.com), if the toolbar entries are not removed.

Ramesh,

Thanks for the advise, however I installed Ad-Aware and
ran the software but the toolbar is still there. Can I get
steps to remove it from my registry. That worked the last
time.

Get the latest version of Adaware and Spybot, run them both.
If you want to go the registry way at least give us an indication, a name
ect...

Rule out parasites.
