Again, thanks a bundle!

I will also try uninstalling the keyboard software and see if that works.
But changing the country code will not do me any good, since there are a
number of letters, which we Danes use and which you've probably never seen!

I find the keyboard explanation hard to believe, though. There are probably
close to a million XP systems in Denmark, all of which have a Danish
keyboard. The one I have is a cordless Logitech one, no more than four
months old. Suggesting that the fault lies in the combination of Logitech's
software and the Danish Win XP Home sounds implausible to me.
But I'll try and see what happens.

First let me see what that sfc-thing does...

Jonas

Well that didn't work. When I run sfc.exe it tells me to insert the Win XP
Pro SP1 CD! I am running XP Home, not Pro, and have the various upgrades and
service packs from downloads, so no CD!
I then click "ignore" a few hundred times and even try to ctrl+alt+del out,
but that doesn't work, so finally i press the reset button.

I also uninstalled the Logitech iTouch software, but the problem persists.

Please help!

Jonas

*Update*
I tried reverting to the previous version of the keyboard driver, but alas
to no avail!
Still not working :-(
Where do I go from here?

An additional question: Do you guys follow the threads you answer, or do I
have to make a new one every time?

Well, looks like you do! I was just wondering....
See a few post higher up.
