unwanted internet shortcuts

how do I delete unwanted Internet shortcuts?

Everytime I start the computer it posts 12 shortcuts
to 'unwanted sites', I select and delete then
empty 'bin', close down as normal.

Few days later they reappear in the c drive again?

is there an application that I need to be looking for to
delete as properties is not giving any clues to help

how do I get rid of them???

It sounds like you might be infected with spyware. go to www.downloads.com and search for Ad-Aware or SpyBot. download one of these products. Install, update and run. Delete all spyware on your computer. delete your internet cache, cookies and tempory *.tmp files.
