Unwanted advertisements

M

Mel

I use a popup blocker but nothing is stopping a gambling casino
www.europacasino.com from appearing on my desktop when I go log onto a
website that is safe. It doesn't always appear when I go to a different
website, but it appears often enough to be very disconcerting.

I also get a website static.egwn.net to appear when I go to a website.

I've run anti-virus software, and adaware software, but nothing helps to
keep these unwanted advertisements from appearing on my desktop.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Mel,

Lots of malware is very devious, and hard to find. One of the best known
security experts on the net, Mark Russinovich, found that out last year, when he
busted Sony for intentionally infecting their customers computers with spyware.
He loaded the infection onto his computer, himself.

You're welcome to peruse my malware articles if you like.

Have you sought help in any malware forums? That's where the expert help for
your problem is most likely to be found. If you have, post links to your
threads, maybe somebody can spot something overlooked.
