Unusually high no. of Trojan attacks?

Have noticed recently far more backdoor/sub-seven trojan attacks. Have up
to date Norton Internet Security at medium/recommended settings and do a
full virus scan regularly. Should I install a separate Trojan hunter
program or should Norton find any?

Norton should find it just fine if it's updated. No need to run another
program.
