Hi all, Newly built PC recognizes second hd in bios but not when booted. Why is this
System: athlon XP 2000, maxtor 40 gb (primary) western digital 120 gb (slave

Click on start and go to run
Type in the following

diskmgmt.ms

Check to see if teh drive is listed here. Yo umay have to intialize /partition/format.
