Unread messages

When i have read new incoming messages, the messages stay
unread (enveloppe closed). I don't know how to solve this.
I use Outlook 2000.

You might try this. Open Outlook and click on Tools >Options. In the
dialog box that opens up click on the Read tab. Make sure there is a
checkmark in the box that says "Mark messages read after displaying for ?
second(s). Also put a number in the duration box, something like 3 or 5
seconds. Click Apply, Click OK.
