unread messages in Public Folders

We use a public folder for support. This way our support
staff can all share it and know when new emails arrive.
However, since switching to Outlook 2003 we are not
notified when new email arrive in the public folder?

Also, we use to have the support folder on the left side
with the short cuts. It was easy to see your mail and
shortcuts at the same time. Now I don't know how to get
Mail and shortcut to display at the same time. It
appears to be one or the other?

Are you viewing a copy of the public folder in the Public Folders\Favorites
hierarchy?
