Unread mail and Opening folders

Two questions:

!. In Outlook there was a folder for "Unread mail". Here it showed all of
the E-mail that had not been read. One could open this and read all of the
E-mail in any of the folders. I cannot find this in Windows Mail. Is it
available?

2. In Outlook each folder was displayed when the Rules directed E-mail to
that folder. In this manner when a folder received mail it showed bold and
the total numbers of mail to that folder. I don't seem to have this on
Windows Mail. Is it available?

1. Windows Mail doesn't have that feature, but its replacement,
Windows Live Mail, does. You are welcome to upgrade to
Windows Live Mail: http://download.live.com/wlmail

2. Try this option: Tools, Options, General, "Automatically display
folders with unread messages".
