Hello,

I am trying to remove the Items that appear in my Calendar as Unread....
There is nothing in my calendar. I look through the different
views\catagories and I still can not see any "Items to remove".

I Right Click my mouse to selete "Mark All as Read", but this still does not
change. I still see 23 messages that are unread.

Any help would be gret....

Thanks

I'll need further information then:

1) Version of Outlook
2) E-mail environment (Exchange, POP3, etc.)
3) Any error messages, error numbers, anything from your application event
viewer (include EventID and source)
4) Any troubleshooting you have already done

Thanks!

1- Outlook 2003 (11.8002.6568) SP2
2- Exchange 2003 SP1
3- Not that I can find
4- Did a repair of Office. Tried using the SCANPST.exe. I even see the 23
unread messages when I go to log into my account when I log into Outlook Web
Access (OWA). Switch views (Catagory) and deleted all entries...

Thanks for your help.

There is 3 of us looking into this and we are stumpped...

Give the following a shot (these are not in any particular order, just things
to try):

1) Try opening Outlook with the /cleanfreebusy switch
2) While Outlook is closed, rename the outcmd.dat file

Still looking for a solution...

The outcmd.dat file is hidden. You have to unhide hidden folders and files in
Windows Explorer. Then just do a file/folder search for it. Make sure Outlook
is closed when you rename it. Choose something like outcmd.dat_old or
something similar.

That was a thought, but my thinking is if it shows up in the OWA as well, it
must be a setting on the Server and not the Local Profile, would you
agree???
