Unread email messages

Hello everyone,

My loginscreen (XP Home + Outlook 2000) keeps telling me that I have a
number of unread emails. I don't have any unread emails. Neither in Outlook
nor in Outlook Express. It says that they have been received under the
account called "MyName@Fax-server". When installing XP again and all other
programs after that yesterday I have indeed installed the fax option when it
came along and I found out that caused the beforementioned account to be
added to Outlook. Removing this account from Outlook and uninstalling the
fax option in XP through the Control Panel > Software > Windows components
list doesn't help. Does anyone have any suggestions?
