Unread Messages

Don R

Outlook 2007 shows no unread email, but when logging onto Windows XP it
shows two unread emails.

Windows XP shows two unread messages, but Outlook 2007 shows none.
I have three mail accounts all set to download mail into Personal
Folders Inbox with my account as the primary mail account. Mail to my
wife and my son are the two secondary accounts.

Windows XP creates an unreadmail key in the registry for the three
accounts. But when I read mail sent to the secondary accounts the read
flag is never cleared and they continue to show up as unread. I can
go into the registry and delete the two secondary accounts unreadmail
keys, but they are recreated the next time mail is received into these
two accounts. Outlook 2007 shows no unread mail.

Anyone know how I can resolve this issue without deleting the two
secondary accounts entirely.

TIA Don

I'd like to keep the email notification feature working. Any idea how
to resolve this issue without turning the email notification feature
completely off?
