Unread E-mails Notification

Paul

Is it possible to disable the display that indicates the
number of unread e-mails for each user on the log-on
screen and shows the e-mail addresses? Why? Want to
avoid all users knowing the e-mail addresses in use by
other users on a shared machine.

Hope somebody can help.

Get TweakUI, Install It, Run It.. Tweak your system. That setting (and many
more) can be controlled easily with it.

Use TweakUI - one of the XP Powertoys from (if you have installed XP
SP1)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

If you have not installed SP1, the earlier version can be found at
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

Once installed you will find it in Start - All Programs - Powertoys for
Windows XP

Its Logon - Unread Mail page, there is a box to uncheck
