Every time you install or reinstall Windows XP SP2, it's a mess
downloading and applying all the Microsoft updates and patches.

I compiled Unofficial_Windows_XP_SP3_updated_Jan.2006.

All Microsoft updates and patches, both critical and optional, from the
time of SP2 release till the 7th of January 2006.

Installed with 2 batch files, all together, no extra reboots.
Plus some Microsoft extras, like Media Player 10, Microsoft .NET all
versions and updates + Visual J (also installed in one go), DirectX
December 2005.

30 updates are collected and compiled by winall.ru, and over 30 further
ones by myself, using idea and batch file pattern of Winall.ru.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD, and definitely DO NOT INSTALL.

Get OS updates only from Microsoft, for example Windows Update.

Ditto. The person who did this may be completely innocent of any wrongdoing,
but there's no way to tell. We live in a crazy world, and it would be
foolhardy to take a risk like this.

Moreover, even if the person who did had no evil intentions, there's no way
to tell whether he might be infected without his knowing it, and what he
distributes also infected.

How can you claim WinXP SP 3 and not give a link to a Microsoft Website? And
state No Password, when have you had to log in to get a service pack or
update from MS?. What is an "Unofficial" service pack updated? Crikey mate!

Post back or I'm sure you will be dutifully informed when WinXP SP3 is
released.
