Receive error when trying to view any Activ
Directory-related utility with the basic similarity being

The Network Path was Not Found

Example
When trying to open the AD USers and Computers, receive

Naming information cannot be located because
The Network Path was not found

Does any one have any ideas?
i think the problem might be to do with DNS, i have no ISP dns present. i have forwarders enabled instead, i have tried secedit to restore defaults with no change, also have tried to restore AD to old version know to be ok, still no joy
the strangest things is that they will occasionally open ok
we have had a virus, i think some files might of been deleted or corrupted

Can someone please help as i have completely ran out of ideas????????????
