unknown file extension

I can't delete a file with an extension ".CS" and the
third letter is some kind of control character appearing
as two exclamation points close together with no space in
between, similar to "!!" but it is one character. System
gives error code 123 and says the syntax of the file name
is wrong.
 
Go to start --> run and type in cmd then enter. rename
the file with a known extension and then delete or you
simply may be able to delete from the command box.
 
? .cs? may be an Adobe GoLive file
