Unknown error in Explorer

I just bought a wireless router for my second computer.
Hooked up wireless and was on-line for about 2 hours when
I was booted off. I tried getting back on, but got this
error: Explorer caused an error in (unknown). Re-start
computer.
Re-started computer about ten times...still got same
error. I believe my internet explorer files are corrupt.
Do I need to re-install IE?
