unknown error during installation

I'd like some help diagnosing why an error window is
popping up immediately after starting the spyware
installer. The message in the window reads:
"Error reading setup initalization file." with an OK
button. I click that and no other activity continues.
I've tried to download the installer twice more and each
time I get the same result. Any ideas?

Are you in a networked enviroment? What OS are you
running? Do you have other anti-spyware software like
Spybot Search & Destroy (with "TeaTimer enabled")? Do you
have administrative permission to your anti virus software
(if applicable)?

I'm having the same problem and error. Since I haven't
found Ben's response, here is mine.

I am not networked. I'm on XP, with Spybot (without Tea-
Timer), plus Ad-Aware. I have Norton Systemworks, but
that has no spyware program. I am the (only)
administrator.
