Unknown Entry in Start-up and Registry

I have just run MSCONFIG.EXE on my computer (Dell Dimension 4500, XP) and
found two unrecognised items with a strange title. The name consists of
five small rectangles and the first rectangle is preceded by an apostrophe.
'

I read the details giving the location in the Registry of these items and
they are located here:

HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows:Run

I have run MSCONFIG.EXE many times in the last ten years and I have never
seen entries amongst the Startup items like those shown above. Please can
anyone tell me the relevance of these items?

Disable them! They are either corrupted entries or spyware.
Disabling them does not jeopardize your operation but if
they are essential then you will soon know.
