unix and FP components

Hi All,
I am advised by my ISP that FP Components do not work on a Unix Server.
Is this the case?

Depends on how the server is set up (does it have FP extensions?), and which
components.

My Unix server works quite happily with all FP components, except the
database functions.

It could be that your ISP's server will not support FP, but Unix in general
will.
