How can I force lowercase file extensions in picture properties

I have tried to publish my first attempt at a FrontPage generated web. My
ISP uses a unix based server with FP server extensions and is hot on case
sensitivity. When I include images within a page as a thumbnail the
"Location" field automatically translates the entered '.jpg' file extension
to uppercase thereby causing a "404 Page not found error" if anyone tries to
view the larger image.

Is there a way I can enforce the filename to be reorded as lower case?

Whilst this would have saved me considerable time when changing the case of
all my files and foldesr, this doesn't appear to be the problem. It is the
referencing of the files and/or folders in the "Picture Properties" fields
within FP that is causing the problem . Regardless of whether I use
CaseChanger to use upper or lower the refences within the property windows
always seem to select the opposite case.
