Unit Converter ?

Years ago I had a unit conversion program that handled nearly everything. It
would convert liters to Jereboams (liquid measure (wine)) and ells to meters.
That one ran under DOS. Is there anything like that in the freeware universe
today?

www.engnetglobal.com has EngNet Tools. What was the DOS one you were using?

There were two versions - one that sensed the mouse and one that did not. The
name of the mouse-sensitive version was metromse.*** and the other was
metrocat.*** IIRC it was written by an Australian, but I suffer from "crs
syndrome" these days. I do remember that it handled some of the most obscure
units such as Nebuchanezzars, and everything else in all systems.

Versaverter http://pawprint.net/vv/
Have you ever needed to know how many square inches there are in a
hectare? How about how many grams in a slug? (well probably not) but,
just think, now you can find out!

Versaverter is a windows based, flexible unit conversion utility that
uses a user modifiable web updateable, knowledge base for unit
conversions. Versaverter can handle any unit conversion that follows a
first order mathematic formula, and even includes a small utility to
allow conversion between numeric bases.
