Does anyone have information on how to uninstall Pagis Pro
3.0 which does not functional properly. I have tried and
tried using Windows XP Add/Remove programs and it does not
uninstall.

1. Close all running programs, and toolbars.
2. Right-mouse click on the Pagis Search Database Monitor in the Tool
Tray and select Close Pagis Search Database
Monitor...
3. Go to Start , Find , and then Files or Folders .
4. Search for PGFOLDER.DLL on the drive Pagis Pro 3.0 was installed to.
Once found, make note of the directory it is located
in. Go to Start , Programs , and then MS-DOS Prompt .
5. At the Windows prompt, enter the following to unregister the
PGFOLDER.DLL file (This will allow you to delete the
ScanSoft folder in Windows Explorer): CD \PROGRA~1\SCANSOFT\PAGIS
NOTE: The entries above and below assume PGFOLDER.DLL was found (in
Step # 4) in the Program Files\ScanSoft\Pagis
folder on the drive Windows was installed to. If PGFOLDER.DLL was
found in another location, substitute the above
directory with the correct one.
6. Press the Enter key on the keyboard.
7. At the C:\Program Files\ScanSoft\Pagis prompt, enter the following:
REGSVR32 /U PGFOLDER.DLL
8. Press the Enter key on the keyboard.
9. At the prompt, enter EXIT, then press the Enter key on the keyboard
to exit out of DOS.
10. Restart your computer.
11. Close all running programs and toolbars.
12. Go to Start and select Run . Enter regedit ; then click OK.
13. Make a backup of your registry. To do so, select My Computer , go
to Registry , Export Registry File and give it the
file name of backup.reg. Click on the Save button.
14. On the left-hand side of the Registry Editor, go into
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ScanSoft. Select the ScanSoft
folder, then go to Edit and Delete .
15. On the left-hand side of the Registry Editor, go into
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ScanSoft. Select ScanSoft, then go
to Edit and Delete .
16. Close the registry.
17. Go to Start , Programs , and then Windows Explorer .
18. Go into the directory that Pagis Pro 3.0 (The default directory is
C:\Program Files\ScanSoft). If the folder ScanSoft is still
there, select and delete it.
19. Close the Registry.
20. From the Windows Desktop click on Start , Settings , and then
Taskbar . Click on the Start Menu Programs tab, then
click on the Remove button.
21. From the list of programs, select Pagis Pro 3.0 and click on the
Remove button.
22. Within the list of programs, click on the plus sign (+) next to
StartUp .
23. If the Pagis Scheduler Monitor and/or Reminder for ScanSoft s
products are listed, remove them.
24. Click on the Close button and then OK .
25. Restart the computer.
Please see if this steps would remove this program thorougly. We will
